Class Description from Instructor Jon:
Generally the class size is fairly small, 2-10 folks, so that we can really work on individual techniques and styles.
The class will run four weeks and takes place on Friday afternoons. It is an intro class, so we’ll be starting with basic watercolor painting techniques and building upon them each week and we will do a number of small informal painting “studies” each week (approx. 4-6), where we explore and practice said techniques.
All along, we’ll also be working in basic artistic principles that are standard across all artistic mediums, such as color theory, perspective, lighting, and even a dash of art history… So in the end, we’ll do about 20+ paintings.
It’s a very informal atmosphere and sometimes we have a glass of wine and chocolate to go along with the class.
