May was a flurry of activity and hubbub!
May 5th was Bloomsday in Spokane, WA. Therapeutic Approach in Spokane contracted Kiva Mobile to join in on a vendor tent offering sports massage to the thousands of racers who go all out that day. This was the first year Bloomsday has had sports massage for the non corporate racers! It was all very exciting and a great marketing exercise in brand recognition.
May 14th was the Lion’s Club annual health fair in Lamb Creek, ID. 
Participants received mammograms, female health exams, vision, hearing, glaucoma and diabetes screening due to the great generosity of the Lion’s Club. Kiva set up a chair massage site for those people involved in the event. A few patients came in and received chair massage while most of the volunteers came and had a complimentary neck and shoulder massage. Thank-you Lion’s Club volunteers for providing such a great service!!!
May 19th Kiva set up a mobile spa at Elkin’s Resort in Nordman, ID for a corporate retreat. 
While the board members met and set the strategic guidelines for the future, their spouses and children were able to relax and recoup from a hectic lifestyle in a cabin set aside specially for Kiva Mobile Spa. Participants received massage, nail services- Kiva contracted (Barefoot Bellas in Priest River), infrared light treatment, cucumber water and light snacks. What a way to enjoy beautiful Priest Lake!
May 25,26 and 27- Memorial Day Weekend was a great flurry of activity all weekend! Kiva offered $1/ Minute Chair Massage, $5 Paraffin Hand Dips and Rose Oxygen Masks at Autumn’s Loft Grand Opening extravaganza! Lots of visitors from out of town came through for the event as well as many snowbirds returning for the summer.
June 2nd was Kiva’s first Open House!
We combined an exhibit of animation cels-(collection of huesgFx), spa treatments, handcrafted glassware by Vizions of Glass, aromatherapy, pain relief methods and root beer floats! Fun was had by all as soon as the torrential rain pour ended around lunch! We will offer regular open houses for new product lines, new practicioners, artisan wares and tasty treats.
